We Autosomal DNA (AtDNA) test Royals and their extended families in various Kingdoms in Africa. We reconnect the Africans that we test with their DNA matches in the Diaspora. We coordinate reconnect events and naming ceremonies for DNA Tested African Descendants the United States and in Africa.

Purpose of the Admin fee

For many years we have coordinated the ceremonies absolutely free to the public. We have paid all costs. We have either purchased the DNA kits ourselves or DNA kits were provided to us in order to test in kingdoms on the African continent.

Beginning in 2019, the aforementioned fees will help defray the cost of the following:

1. Coordination and preparation of naming rites ceremony administration and certificates

2. Purchase of DNA kits to test Africans on the continent in hopes to find more family

3. Continuing the African DNA Testing Project

We are not responsible for any costs involved in travel, accommodations, or meals where the naming ceremony may be held.

The name will be acquired from African Elders and presented to you by officers and members of DNA Tested Africans. If we do not find an elder that can provide a name from the ethnic group that you provided in this form, you WILL receive an Igbo name. This is because it has been stated that about 65 % of African Americans and other Africans in the Diaspora have at least 1 Igbo ancestor or relative. We will advise you of this in advance.

PROTOCOL

1. Please complete the form in its entirety. This is the only method that we use to track the registrations.

2. The naming ceremony is Coordinated by DNA Tested Africans www.DNATestedAfricans.org . No other organization will have the details for this unless they are stated in this form or in communications with you coming directly from us.

3. The prefered attire will be Traditional African attire but it is NOT mandatory. No sneakers or baseball caps. Ladies dresses must extend pass the knees when seated. Blouses or shirts must cover the chest, shoulders and waste completely.

A Successful African DNA Naming Ceremony

This means you should receive at a minimum, a name, the meaning or significance of the name, the ethnic group that the name is associated with and a certificate.

STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT

DNA Tested Africans is NOT liable for any incidents, accidents or thefts that may occur during any of its facilitated events or sponsored events. This responsibility is solely that of the individuals that are registering for the naming ceremony.

After registration, an email and follow up email will be sent. There MUST be a confirmation of attendance via a reply message upon receipt of the follow up email. Instructions will be provided for you. If you are unable to make the event after registering, you MUST let us know in order to be eligible to register for future events.

UNABLE TO ATTEND

If you register and find you are unable to attend, you MUST inform us by email BEFORE the date of the event in order to be eligible to register with us again. We understand that emergencies happen. We must know if you will not attend. Quite a bit of preparation is required for a successful naming ceremony and we do not wish to waste the elders' time.
