Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our unit. This form will capture some information about you, any current permits you hold in Scouting and any activities you would be interested in working towards at this stage.

We are welcoming applications for both people already involved in Scouting alongside those who are new to Scouts.

Consents

Basingstoke East Scouts and BEAST Active Support Unit is a registered charity and as such we must protect our funds. If chosen to train for an activity there is an investment of the charity into you and your training.

It is therefore expected that you will provide activities to the District and be an active member of the unit for a minimum of 12 months after your have gained your permit.
Your Agreement *

I understand the above and am aware that should I not play an active role in the team and my activity that I may be asked to repay the money spent on my courses.
Your Application *

I understand that I am applying to be a member of the unit and may be offered a training course in my chosen skills. There is no commitment to take the offered course. I also understand that my Scouting record will be updated to show me as a member of BEAST Active Support Unit
Disclosures and Training *

I understand that in order to be a member of the unit, I will require a valid DBS (criminal record check) and have completed the mandatory safeguarding and safety training modules.
