  • FUNCTION

    Safe and expedient transportation of goods and materials throughout our operating territory

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Must be able to safely operate an automatic transmission box truck

    2. Must be able to do day & night driving in all types of weather

    3. Must be able to read, write and perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply & divide)

    4. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs., frequently lift up to 100 lbs. and occasionally lift over 100 lbs.

    5. Must be able to stoop, squat, bend, pull, or twist as part of routine daily work

    6. Drives truck to collect and transport materials for Donated Goods and the Home Pick-Up Program

    7. Load and unload truck with Industrial Services product and make deliveries for Industrial Services Department

    8. Maintains time schedule indicating arrival and departure

    9. Maintains records of materials collected, contract runs, miscellaneous trips, and daily mileage

    10. Inspects vehicle equipment and supplies prior to beginning day's activities and reports any malfunctions of the truck or equipment to supervisor

    11. Does light maintenance on truck such as adding fluids, replacing bulbs, adding fuel and oil, etc.

    12. Loads & unloads material from trucks and places in proper areas

    13. Must be cooperative, friendly and well-groomed at all times. Must always properly wear safety gear and uniforms.

    14. Maintains clean and orderly conditions at all stops

    15. Assists with baling and other warehouse operations when route is completed

    16. Provides exemplary customer service

    17. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

    18. Operates the forklift

    19. Performs other duties as assigned by Warehouse and Transportation Manager and VP of Donated Goods and Marketing.

  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Truck Helper as needed

    High School Diploma or GED 

    Five years experience Forklift

  • Other Requirements:

    License Check - valid driver's license and proof of insurability

    Background Checks - The offer of employment will be based on the outcome of the background check

    Drug and Alcohol Screen - Must pass a drug and alcohol screen prior to employment.

    Subject to random testing.
