Information about this training is posted in our Academic Services newsletters, the Faculty Hub, and the Blackboard Insitution page in the weeks leading up to the event. Additionally, the Financial Aid Office sends information about this training to you at the beginning of each semester if your student is a Work Study student.

Is this student a returning Work Study/Student Worker? In the Fall, everyone must complete FERPA and Blackboard Training, but in the Spring only brand new Work Study/Student Worker students (new to working in the Spring semester) must complete the training.
List the Course(s) the above Work Study/Student Worker needs to access. Include course code and section number. Your Work Study/Student Worker will also be enrolled in "Blackboard 101 - Work Studies."

Work Study students and Student Workers will have access to private and confidential student and course data. To abide by FERPA law, instructors are required to inform these users of the responsibilities that come with these privileges. At all times, users with access to privileged course information and student data must ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all other course users and data and may not share this data with any unauthorized persons.
