Before you start filling out this application, let's go over some details:

Studio by The Tracks (SBTT) is a non-profit art studio providing free, supported art classes to adults with autism.

To ensure that we are able to meet the needs of all the artists, please be sure that New Artists understand and agree to the following:

--> Artists must be adults (18 or older) on the autism spectrum

--> Artists must have a strong desire to create

--> Artists must have their own transportation, and be available for one of our class periods which start between 9:30am - 2:30pm on weekdays.

--> SBTT strives for a 3:1 or lower artist to staff ratio. While staff is always present to support artists, our community setting requires that artists be able to work occasionally without direct supervision.

--> Artist must be comfortable in a group setting. Repeated disruptive, unsafe, or bullying behavior that is not conducive to our community space cannot be accommodated.

--> Artist must be able to attend to their own basic needs (unless accompanied by a caregiver able to be present onsite but outside the classroom space).

--> New artists begin with a 4 class trial period to ensure that SBTT is a mutually good fit for creative and social needs.
