TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Any match outside of sanctioned competitions that is played between 2 teams from different clubs must be sanctioned irrespective of where the match is held.
2. All participants must be registered with, or in the case of pre-season fixtures, intending to register with their respective club for the current season.
3. Team sheets must be completed and returned to NNSWF for all trial fixtures even where referees are not requested.
4. All NNSWF Premier Competitions First Grade teams playing in a trial match must have 3 match officials appointed by NNSWF to receive sanction, regardless of the grade, division or association the other team is from.
5. With the exception of First Grade all teams playing in trial matches may elect to have match officials appointed. If requesting match officials a minimum of 2 officials will be appointed, clubs have the option to request 3 officials as part of the application process.
NNSWF at its absolute discretion will appoint match officials to a match considered to be high risk. If this is the case appointment of match officials will be made in consultation with the host club.
6. Where Match Officials have not been not requested clubs may appoint a Club Member to officiate. A Club Member is someone who has a direct association with the club, as a player; team official; club official or club associate. Registered Match Officials, or Referee Branches are not to be directly approached by a club to officiate on any fixture for which NNSWF is not appointing Match Officials.
7. Applications made within 5 business days for first grade matches will not be sanctioned, for all other grades outside of First Grade any applications made within 5 business days of the proposed match(es) will be sanctioned but will NOT have Match Officials appointed by NNSWF.
8. Where Match Officials are requested, NNSWF will make the appointments and host clubs will be invoiced by NNSWF as per match official fee schedule for trial fixtures.
9. It is the host clubs responsibility to ensure player, match official & spectator safety at the venue, including but not limited to the playing surface, change room facilities & security by taking all necessary precautions to minimise the risk of public liability claims.
11. Sanction is provided for host clubs only and is under the provision that visiting clubs obtain their own sanction to participate.
12. Any club in breach of terms and conditions of sanctioning will have their sanction revoked.
13. Any club conducting a trial that has not been sanctioned by NNSWF will render club administrator(s) liable in the event of player injury or public liability claims.
