Thank you for your interest in the City of Edmonton Youth Council! We are assembling a diverse group of young people who can:

share their unique perspectives, experiences and knowledge about life and living in Edmonton
work together toward the improvement of youth opportunities and experiences from a policy and advocacy level

The City of Edmonton Youth Council aims to represent a diverse demographic of the youth in Edmonton. What specific populations, interests, neighborhoods, or backgrounds do you represent that sets you apart from other youth?*

Have you ever served in an official capacity on Edmonton City councils, boards, committees, or associations?*

How did you hear about the City of Edmonton Youth Council?*

The Youth Council involves:

commitment for a one-year term (November to October)
regular attendance to General Assembly meetings held monthly on the second Wednesday
selecting additional volunteer opportunities with the Youth Council that are well-suited to your interests and/or abilities, e.g. joining a subcommittee or working group
Running for the Executive
representing a youth perspective on a civic board or other opportunities that arise
access to email at least once a week in order to stay informed of news and opportunities.
