When You Make a Major Mistake

1.     Godly believers are not exempt from making major      . (v. 17-26, Col 2:11-14, Rom 7:4-6, 10:4, Gal 3:24-26, Eph 2:15, Heb 10:1)

• We must seek the      of the Holy Spirit by seeking God’s will in God’s Word.
• We must desire to      God first and foremost, rather than prioritizing pleasing others. (Rom 9:1-4)
• We must remember that having the right      is not enough, truth must also prevail.
• We must never      the truth of God’s Word and especially the Gospel, even for the sake of unity & love!

2.     Bad decisions & disobedience to God inevitably lead to      , sometimes serious. (v. 27-36)
