Forge Equipping is designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of participants, meeting people at different stages of life while offering meaningful, intentional discipleship.
Who Can Participate?
- High School Students: High school students are invited to take part in one focused week of Core Training, designed especially to give them a strong foundation and a powerful first step into the Forge Equipping experience.
- Young Adults:Young adults may choose between two pathways:
- Core Training only, or
- Core Training + Outreach Camp
Program Stages
- Core Training (Columbia, South Carolina)
This is not a summer camp. It’s an immersive adventure with God that blends classroom teaching with real-world experiences. During the program dates, participants receive essential training that forms the foundation of Forge Equipping and equips them for a lifetime of following Jesus on mission.
- Outreach Camp (Smoky Mountains of Tennessee)
This stage is an opportunity to put your training into practice. Participants serve others and boldly proclaim God’s Word in a hands-on ministry environment.
Note: High school students are encouraged to participate in the Core Training in Columbia, SC. The Outreach Camp portion is available to young adults.
Cost & Support Raising
We know that the cost can feel intimidating, and we never want finances to be the reason someone chooses not to apply for Forge Equipping. Each accepted student is invited into a support-raising process to fund tuition for this discipleship training mission.
A member of the Forge team will personally walk alongside each student, providing practical tools such as a personal funding website, a support letter, and creative ideas to help fuel the fundraising process.
