    Youth Leadership & Engagement Survey

"Leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less"- John Maxwell.
  • Youth Leadership Programmes (Part A)

Sport NZ Ihi Aotearoa is exploring some of the awesome youth leadership programmes that exist across Aotearoa. We are particularly interested in those leadership programmes that incorporate physical activity.

This survey is capturing the youth leadership programmes that exist, who they are for, and how rangatahi are learning about leadership and influencing others. If your organisation or group delivers, or supports the delivery of a leadership programme for rangatahi (young people 12-18 years), we would love to know about it.

    Hearing Youth Voice (Part B)

We are also interested in the methods/ processes that are in place to hear youth voice in your organisation. If your organisation does not deliver, or support the delivery of a youth leadership programme, the survey will quickly progress to part B.

Please fill out Part A and Part B of the survey below to explain your programme and methods of youth engagement in more detail. Please ensure you fill the questions out in order as your answers determine which questions you are shown. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and you may save your progress and complete it later. (You run more than one programme? Ka rawe! Awesome! Please fill out one survey per programme).

How will this info be used?

This information will be used to develop Sport NZ's understanding of the youth leadership landscape and inform any potential support in this space. Generalised groups findings may also be shared with Regional Sports Trusts.
