Thank you for considering the possibility of covering the registration fees for your staff.
Registration with the HPAC is recommended as best practice by the CQC, by default we share a list of which organisations are registered with us, and, the number of HPAC registered staff they use. The CQC has a very positive view of organisations using the system, as it helps reduce risk to patients and staff. The HPAC is included in their key lines of enquiry and inspectors take your participation with the HPAC into consideration when assessing your organisational approach to safeguarding.
Licence fees and usage:
You can allocate and remove a licence slot to and from registrants associated to your organisation at any point. Annual fees per licence package are based on the volume purchased. To see how much it will cost you can enter the number of licences you require in the section below and a price will be calculated for you.
Please be aware of the following terms of re-allocation of licence slots:
-
If a staff member has their sponsored licence removed they will have to arrange their own means of payment to remain active on the HPAC register.
-
If a licence is re-allocated to a different HPAC applicant/registrant, your organisation will have to pay a £7.50 fee toward the cost of a new DBS check for the staff member. If they already hold a full enhanced DBS certificate which they can share with us and is on the DBS Update Service, a new check will not be required.
-
Due to the high cost and quality of HPAC ID cards, if an ID card has already been redeemed against a licence slot, the organisation (or registrant being sponsored) will have to cover a one-time fee of £30 for a new ID Card.
