What does the Writing track look like?
Here we will dive into the world of writing together with God! In this track, you can explore your voice, how to write creatively in select types of writing, and what it means to create with God. This track is for both experienced and non-experienced writers.
We will go through areas such as poetry, short stories, novels, social media, marketing, editorial, and movie scripts/screenplay. There will be collaborations with the other creative tracks as well.
During track time you will write a lot, create and play with words with fellow writers, and share your writing. You will also work on a bigger and longer project during first part of DTS (lecture phase). Close to outreach there will be a showcase and you will then present your project. You choose the form — either a collection of poems, a longer story, or something else. The Creative DTS will have a theme for the showcase.
You are very much welcome to write in your mother tongue, but when you present your work, you need to translate it to English.
The vision of this track is that you will grow in your identity in Jesus and in your gifting. Here you are free to create and have fun!
