What does the Writing track look like?

Well, here we will dive into the world of writing together with God! In this track, you can explore your voice, how to write creative in different areas, and what it means to write for God’s Kingdom. This track is both for the experienced and the non-experienced ones.

We will go through areas such as poem, short story, novel, social media, marketing, articles and movie script/screenplay.

There will be many short assignments, some longer and one that lasts the entire DTS. Close to the graduation there will be a showcase and you will then present this text you have been working on for 6 months. You choose the form, either it’s a collection of poems or a longer story or something else. You can also choose a topic chosen by the track leader or write whatever you want to write about.

You are very much welcome to write in your mother tongue, but when you present your work, you need to translate it to English.

The vision of this track is that you will grow in your identity in Jesus and in your gifting. Here, you are free to create and have fun!

End goals:
- To write and work on a text over a longer period of time
- To know more about your writing voice
- Feel safe and secure of sharing your own work

Please send us a few sample of your writing! At least two different stories or type of writing. (And if you haven't written anything yet, that's totally fine.)

If English is not your mother tongue, we still need you to translate your writing for us. We are aware of the fact that it will not be the same as the one you have written in your own language. Please write this on the top of your document: “This is an English translation of (insert your language).”
