ROUTE, ON DEMAND, SNOW EVENTS CATAGORIZED, ARRIVAL EXPECTATIONS, OPTIONAL BRUSHING.
ROUTE: Snow Blowing Backup Service follows a Pre-planned, Sequential, Location-Specific Schedule to complete its clearing routes. Our typical route includes:
- Morristown
- Morris Township
- Morris Plains
- Cedar Knolls,
- Parts of Denville
- Randolph.
Please do not complete the agreement if your property isn't located in any of these NJ towns. We serve around 17–20 customers per snow event, with our operations running all day and night. This agreement is not designed for those who urgently / immediately need clearing and itch to clear their driveway themselves or hire another service because they can't wait for our scheduled arrival. You may feel "trapped in" while you wait, but full payment is due for your contracted service regardless of whether you use it. Failure to wait for us is considered a breach of the agreement.
If our team arrives to find your driveway pre-cleared,
- A $150 fee will immediately apply to this first offense.
- 2nd time this happens, you will be permanently removed from our route and replaced.
We strive to serve all of our customers promptly, but routes require first and last positions. This is a relationship. It's not ok to ride sometimes and step off others.
ON DEMAND SERVICE:
For "Dustings and Light Snow Events. .5"-3" inches, the service becomes
"On-Demand" this requires a specific request via confirmation text.
Snow .5" to 3 inches is NOT automatically cleared.
SNOW EVENTS CATEGORIZED:
- Light Dusting Event: 0.5”-2” – On Demand
- Light Snow Event: 2”-2.9” – On Demand
- Light Standard Event: 3”-4”. – Auto trigger and arrival
- Standard Event: 4.1”-6”. – Automatic arrival
- Moderate Event: 6.1”–7” – Automatic arrival
- Moderate to Heavy Event: 7.1”-9” – Automatic arrival
- Heavy Event: 9.1”-12” – Automatic arrival
- Very Heavy Event: 12.1”–18” – Automatic arrival
- Record Level Event: 18.1”+ (Arrival As We Can!)
Note: Snow will be measured as accurately from sample properties as possible - please be aware that some towns can receive more snow within the same event due to different elevations and weather patterns.
ARRIVAL EXPECTATIONS:
During moderate to very heavy snowfall, arrival time may extend into the next day 24–36- up to 48 hours after snowfall ends. At times, a break may be necessary for our continued safe operation. We are not a pickup truck plow service. Our equipment, including walk-behind blowers, mini skids, and compact loaders, requires extended outdoor physical work, which takes more time than just driving. Typically, each driveway can take from 35 minutes ight snow to 90 minutes for heavy snow. Our equipment must be safely loaded/unloaded from our trailer at each property, and travel time, equipment changes, and cautious driving add time to the schedule. Calling or messaging us won't change our route or arrival timing. If you're on our route, we will arrive as soon as possible.

TO UNDERTSAND ROUTE / ARRIVAL TIMING
These two examples are provided to clarify timing
Arrival Example #1
4.3" of snow (a Standard Common Event!)
(17 Accounts) x (avg. 45 min. clearing times) + (avg. 15 min drive times) + (avg. 10 min. unload/reload times)
= 19.8 Hrs. (i.e this is almost 1 Full Day). within 24 hrs.
This timing does not account for:
- Food Breaks
- Bathroom Breaks
- Unexpected Mechanical or Trailer Issues
- Gas Refilling
- Physical Exhaustion
_____________________________________________
Example 2.
10.4" of snow (a Heavy Event Less Common)
(17 Accounts) x (increased avg. 70 min. clearing times) + (avg. 15 min drive times) + (avg. 15 min trailer unload / reload times)
= 28.3 Hrs. + (overnight break)
Moves to 34.3 Hrs. (Under 36 Hrs. Under 48)
48 is more liley / possible when snow exceeds 12"
Again, this timing does not account for:
- Food Breaks
- Bathroom Breaks
- Unexpected Mechanical Issues
- Gas Refilling
- Trailer Swapping For Different Heavy Equipment

OPTIONAL BRUSHING:
One optional service designed for paver stone driveways
Add on POLY BRUSHING or no fee - PUSH PLOW (w/ poly shoes)
Ideal for delicate paver stone driveways or at times steeper inclines. This brushing add-on is a $40 or $ 45 fee. Using a sweeper brush requires us to absorb the annual poly bristle roll replacement. This method costs us more than the use of metal auger blowers. Note: Larger snowfalls, 6.1"+, may necessitate using a metal auger blower to reduce level before poly brushing.
