ROUTE & TIMING: I understand Snowblowing Backup Service completes it's clearing route in a pre-planned CONSECUTIVE route. First we start clearing the driveways of all "Full Service Agreement" accounts located directly inside of Morristown & Morris Township (07960). Second on our clearing route is Morris Plains, 3rd is Whippany, 4th is Cedar Knolls and 5th we track back to clear Randolph. Please do not complete this agreement if you are not located within these 5 NJ towns. We routinely clear up to 25 customers day & night. It's possible during a large heavy snow storm that driveway clearing can roll over into the next day. (i.e it's possible we may arrive 24-36 hrs. from the initial snow fall stop time). Time is taken to safely load and unload our heavy snow clearing equipment at each account. As a customer I understand that calling, emailing or texting before, during and directly after a pending snow storm will not change our pre-set clearing route or our timeframes. On average we take 30 to 40 minutes to clear each driveway. We always aim to cause minimal to no damage and we aim to maintain a safe working environment for any helpers. We provide all our customers with a PREMIUM CLEARING SERVICE (a more gentle process than any truck plows). Our added brushing service is designed for paver stone driveways and for steep inclines. This ability is unique to only to us.

SNOW CONDITIONS & HOMEOWNER PREP / SAFETY: I understand snow clearing will begin once snow falls collects and sticks on the surface up to 3 inches. This level of snow fall will initiate our clearing route. Snow fall under 3 inches will be ignored and left to melt on its own unless you call or text specifically to request clearing the 2"-3" event. I understand snow clearing can happen at any time of the day or at night at my location. I understand there will be unavoidable noise that will come from snow removal machines performing their work. I understand that Backyard Backup Service, LLC. dba. Snow Blowing Backup Service purposely waits on each snow event until the snow fall fully subsides / ends before attempting to clear driveways. This wait is done purposely to try to avoid multiple clearing visits. This wait also allows for street clearing to be performed by local towns and municipalities. We need the main service roads and neighborhood streets to become safely passable for our truck and trailer. I understand Snow Brushing/Sweeping may be the snow clearing method preferred for "lighter snow falls" ranging from 2 to 6 inches. PREPARATION / SAFETY: I agree to turn on all of my exterior flood lights and I will move my cars to the side of my driveway or place my cars inside my garage to help facilitate clearing. I will not approach any machines while in use.

SCUFF MARKS /TRACK MARKS: I understand that some driveways are more susceptible to "Scuff / Track Marks" than others. Marks are sometimes seen after snow blowing is performed. They tend to occur and are more visible on a NEWER or UNSEALED dark blacktop driveway. I understand that there is an unavoidable risk of obtaining minor damage from a snowblower's spinning steel auger mechanism and the use rubber tracks. Understanding this is an unavoidable risk: I will therefore NOT hold Backyard Backup Services, LLC. dba. Snow Blowing Backup Service liable for any kind of asphalt or any minor scratch marks. A once a year driveway seal coating can and will cover up and hide most minor asphalt scratch marks. Snow Brushing is always recommended for paver stone driveways when the snow event's are 2-6 inches. At 6-12+ inches we may have to use snow blowers with metal augers. We are as careful as possible.All reasonable precautions will be taken to carefully adjust our snow blower's side poly shoes and our scraper blades. However commercial level snow removal equipment is designed to be heavy duty and powerful (i.e bigger than homeowner level machines). Snow Blower augers can and will make surface contact at times. Tracks systems are needed for proper traction and safety. Bottomline: We are far gentler than any truck's plow blade. If you need to maintain a perfect unmarred driveway your best bet is to do all your snow clearing yourself. We understand.
I understand and I agree with all the terms and conditions stated inside the "Scuff Marks / Track Marks" section of this agreement. I understand the risk of damage and I fully release Backyard Backup Services, LLC. from this liability.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Due to the blowing or the brushing of snow, Backyard Backup Services, LLC. dba. Snowblowing Backup Service will not be held responsible for liable for damage done to driveways, landscape lighting, mailboxes, trees, fences, plants, brick/block sidewalks, planting beds, shrubs, Belgian blocks, curbing and grass areas if such areas are not clearly delineated with markers between snowfalls. Any damage occurring to property will be reported to our office within 48 hours of the end of the storm. Backyard Backup Services LLC. dba. Snowblowing Backup Service will not be responsible for any "slip and fall accident(s)" that may occur on your property after our clearing service has been performed. We are not responsible for any "Acts of God" including but not limited to extraordinary weather conditions.All possible precautions and operator care will be taken.
I understand and I agree to all the terms and conditions as stated inside this "Limitations Of Liability" section of this agreement.

NOT A DE-ICING SERVICE: I understand that Backyard Backup Services, LLC. dba. Snowblowing Backup Service IS NOT and DOES NOT provide any "DE-ICING" or any ice mitigation. No salting or chemicals will ever be used. We only remove driveway and perimeter walkway snow to facilitate careful personal movement and automobile access. Any salt, sand or chemicals to be applied to our customers property will be the homeowners sole responsibility. All proper precautions still must be taken to prevent ANY type of potential slip and fall. Homeowner's must properly handle all possible icy hazards. I therefore fully release without any exception Backyard Backup Services, LLC. dba. Snowblowing Backup Service of any and all slip and fall liability injuries or damage for any ice related incidents or accidents.
I understand and I agree to all the terms and conditions stated inside "Not a De-Icing Service" section of this service agreement. Ice mitigation, salt, chemicals and customer safety remains the home owners full responsibility without any exception.

DRIVEWAY MARKERS: I agree to allow Backyard Backup Services dba. Snowblowing Backup Service to insert multiple orange plastic driveway markers. I will leave in place a number of 2 ft. reflective plastic stick markers placed around my driveway edges and in targeted areas for the entire term of this agreement. I agree to this requirement and I will leave markers in place because I realize they are important visual markers to help our machine operator(s) see in the dark to identify and avoid potential damage when snow fully covers over selected areas. I agree that these markers will not to be removed or discarded because they will be reclaimed by Backyard Backup Services dba. Snowblowing Backup Service in early April to be used again the following year.
I understand and agree to all terms and conditions stated inside the "Driveway Markers" section of this clearing agreement. I understand why these driveway markers are necessary.

INDEMNIFICATION: The home owner / customer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Backyard Backup Services, LLC. dba. Snow Blowing Backup Service it's owners employees, and subcontractors from and against any and all claims, damages, reasonable attorney fees, costs, and expenses which Backyard Backup Service dba. Snowblowing Backup Service incurs as a result of claim or claims brought by the home owner / customer or any third party, arising out of any wrongdoing, negligence, and/or breach of contract by the owner alleged or otherwise, or any Act of God, including but not limited to extra ordinary weather conditions that is related, in any manner whatsoever, to the premises of the owner's involvement with the premises or the services, including but not limited to personal injuries resulting from slip and fall accidents.
I understand and I agree to all the stated terms and conditions inside the "Indemnification" section of this service agreement.

PAYMENT TERMS: Life of the agreement: This agreement is valid from the date it's signed until March 15th 2026 of the following year. Payment: Payment is due at the time of the service or 1-5 days after our emailed invoice is sent. All paper checks must be maid to out to: Backyard Backup Services, LLC. Mail to Backyard Backup Services - 20 Corn Hill Drive Morristown, NJ 07960. Please be aware of automatic bank check payment delays. Any emailed or paper outstanding invoice payments 10 days past due will be subject to a late fee of $25.00 Backyard Backup Services, LLC. dba. Snow Blowing Backup Service reserves the right to suspend service when payments become more than 10 days past due from the date the invoice is sent.

Please measure your driveway. Identify entire length (in feet). Please use the page numbers below to select the appropriate level of service. (all prices stated below include baseline 3" to 6" inches of snow. Please carefully read this paragraph and examine the attached pricing grids for all snow fall levels and required additional fees)* This field is required.By selecting the appropriate service below it will be understood by Backyard Backup Services LLC. dba Snow Blowing Backup Service that you desire our clearing service. We will come out to your property in person to check and verify your driveway measurements (incline - length and width) as well as any potential additional charges. Billing will be adjusted to our online and in person measurements. We also will insert our plastic visual driveway markers at the time of verification. You'll be electronically invoiced via email approximately 1-2 days after after each clearing event. Additional snowfall pricing tiers are calculated in 3 inch depth increments AS WELL AS 25 and 50 ft. driveway length increments. Each time a 3 inch snowfall depth increment is exceeded, the base pricing will be increased at a rate rate $12.50 per 25 ft driveway length. (see both our Pricing Grid Matrix attached) We will measure the snow depth information for each snow event and send a photo attached to our invoice if an extra fee is applied (i. e the snow is over 6"). Snow Blowing & Snow Brushing options listed below should only be selected if you have either a Steep Incline Driveway or Delicate Paver Stone or Concrete (Note: Brushing is a premium level service - brush wear is very expensive per year super long path driveways are exempt from brushing). Normal driveway width is typically 10ft wide. Any Extra Wide Driveways or Parking Areas may incur an additional fee. If your town requires a Perimeter Walkway Cleared, an extra $25 fee will be assessed. All other WALKWAYS ARE NOT considered part of this driveway clearing service.
