Primary Executive Roles
President
- Provides overall leadership and direction to the society
- Establishes short- and long- range objectives and goals in conjunction with the other executives
- Presides at meetings of the society and its executives
- Maintains contact on society's activities with the RY Headquarters
Secretary
- Handles and maintains records of society's correspondence
- Maintains official records of meetings
- Informs executives of deadlines for reports and future correspondences
Treasurer
- Oversees society's finances, collects dues, and receives proceeds from tickets and other moneys
- Assists the president and other executives in preparing and maintaining program budgets and financial controls
- Maintains and supervises society's bank accounts
- Pays all society's bills
- Prepares and submits financial statements to the president and the executives
Publicity Exec
- Ensure the society is promoted to the public via social media, newsletters, notice board
- Set up the society's stall and publicity for Freshers/Refreshers Fair
- Organise society's merch (i.e. hoodies or t-shirts)
- Take photos and videos for promotion online
Secondary Executive Roles
- Prayer Exec - In charge of leading prayers before, during, after society meetings
- Welfare Exec - Work with others in the society to promote safeguarding, diversity and inclusion. Act as the first point of contact for members concerned about welfare
- Moves Exec - Organise plays and skits for events and sessions
- Voices Exec - Coordinates and schedules all performances for their musical group. Select and plan the specific music that the group will perform and lead rehearsals
- Events Exec - Directs the overall planning and strategy for live or virtual meetings and events for the society. Define the goals, purpose and messaging for events
