In order to learn about the design, implementation, and impact of the program, MLI may engage outside firms to conduct independent evaluations of the program. The Reading Specialist participant may be asked to participate in a component of the evaluation, including but not limited to interviews, and observations of the participant's teaching. The program may continue to collect data about the achievement of students in the participant's classes after completion of the Reading Specialist Certification program. These data will be used to evaluate the program as a whole. In addition, the participant agrees to provide MLI with all TVAAS, TCAP, and all Shelby CountySchools (SCS), Achievement School District (ASD) or other Memphis school-sponsored testing scores upon earliest access. The participant also agrees to provide MLI with all school-based teacher evaluation data. The participant agrees to provide a signed consent for release of information for Shelby CountySchools and Achievement Schools granting SCS and ASD permission to provide MLI with individual teacher effectiveness measurement (TEM/TAP) scores and other performance evaluation reports.
