This internship is a mixture of being independent and providing services throughout the Fox Valley (in office and in community) - along with co-facilitating groups with other therapists (creative arts therapists) - describe any experience you have with these opportunities:*

Since this is an agency that employs counselors who also have a degreed specialty area (art therapy, music therapy) how will you learn from them without practicing out of your scope of practice?*

This internship is a mix of populations and ages – we, throughout the agency, see individuals from birth to end of life. We have different diagnoses that are treated within our clinic including but not exclusive to: depression/anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, AODA, genetic disorders (down syndrome, trisomy 21, etc.), cognitive delays, Alzheimer’s/dementia, bipolar disorder. What might be challenging for you within these populations or ages? *
