The rules listed here are for safety and the quality of the parade. Failure to abide by these rules may result in removal from the parade and will jeopardize future applications to march.
1.There is NO rain date for the parade. If the weather is questionable, call the Chamber office on Sunday after 11am for announcement, or check the Chamber website.
2.The parade route is over one mile long. Walking participants should be able to keep up the marching pace for the entire parade route. Adults are welcome to accompany their children in the parade.
3.Identification banners are strongly suggested for all marching groups.
4.No Santa or Mrs. Santa costumes allowed. There will be only one Santa in the parade. Elf costumes and Santa hats are acceptable.
5.All marching units and participants are required to maintain a continuous forward motion during the parade.

7.Distribution of candy, pamphlets, or other materials along the parade route is strictly prohibited for the safety of the spectators/parade participants but can be distributed at the conclusion of the parade at the Plaza or in the Senior Center parking lot.
8.Drop off of parade participants will be in the municipal pool parking lot. Brunswick Avenue will be closed to all traffic. Use Lake Avenue to access the parking lot.
9.All parade participants must arrive at the staging area on time — no later than 3:30 pm — and should re-port to a Parade Marshal in the parking lot for line of march information.
10.All floats must be constructed using non-flammable materials and must carry a fire extinguisher.
11.Small vehicles will queue on Lake Avenue, Floats will queue on Brunswick Avenue. Refer to registrant email for exact location/marching#.
12.Large emergency vehicles will queue on South Main St.
13.If for some reason a group is unable to participate in the parade, please notify: the Chamber office no later than the Friday before the parade.
