  • Our program focuses on enhancing confidence, self-love, attitude, and a touch of sass. We offer hour-and-a-half sessions that include lessons on the specially designed garments. A Pretty In Primp Fashion show is more than just a display of stylish outfits; it serves as an educational experience, teaching participants about style, fabric, and the inspiration behind each piece. Each show features a unique theme dedicated to the garments, and we coach up to 12 mini models on various walking styles to ensure they are Red Carpet ready for their special day.

    Themes & Costumes

The themes for the fashion show are selected a year in advance, drawing inspiration from a diverse array of sources such as cultures, mythology, science, music, and other captivating elements of the universe. Once the costumes are finalized, each young model will be individually measured to ensure a perfect fit. The outfits may be adorned with child-friendly makeup and wigs, all meticulously handcrafted by the owner of Pretty In Primp. After the show concludes, the models will have the opportunity to keep their costumes, creating lasting memories from this unique experience.

    Choosing A Model

Pretty In Primp has established an enjoyable and equitable process for selecting mini models. To participate, interested individuals must first attend the meet and greet, where they can connect with the event's owner and organizer. While parents familiarize themselves with the program, the girls have the opportunity to socialize and move to lively music, helping to ease any nerves. If there are more than 12 participants, each girl will receive a ticket, and those whose tickets are drawn will be invited to join the show.

    Cost & Finances

The cost to participate in the fashion show is limited to the application fee. In today's world, after-school programs can often be prohibitively expensive, which may prevent young people from fully engaging in enriching experiences. Pretty In Primp aims to minimize expenses by organizing events in enjoyable and budget-friendly venues, ensuring that participants have a memorable experience. Ticket prices typically range from $15 to $105, depending on the location of the event. Additional costs may include photography packages, costume accessories deemed necessary, and hair care. The application fee is set at $150 {NON-REFUNDABLE}.

    Rehearsalsย

Rehearsals for the Fashion Show will take place on weekday evenings, with specific days to be determined during the meet and greet. Additionally, we will hold Jitter Walks on Saturdays in public locations to enhance visibility. This is a serious commitment, and it is crucial for participants to attend all rehearsals, as missing any could negatively impact their performance. Our program will conduct rehearsals over a span of approximately 10 weeks, culminating in one dress rehearsal and a final run-through that includes all participants, chaperones, coaches, and makeup artists. If a participant misses more than three rehearsals, they will be removed from the program.

    Transportation

Transportation to and from rehearsals is essential. Please ensure that arrangements are made for your childโ€™s participation. Once the rehearsal schedule is confirmed, it is your responsibility to ensure your child can attend. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for pick-up, a late fee of $25 will be incurred, which must be paid before the next rehearsal. Failure to pay this fee may result in your child being removed from the program.

    Communication is Key

Our program emphasizes the importance of positivity in modeling. We encourage our participants to embody elegance and project confidence during their walks. It is essential for all members to maintain respect for themselves, their peers, and the staff. We uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding inappropriate behavior, poor academic performance, and disrespectful language from both participants and their guardians. Effective communication is vital for the success of our program, and we believe that mutual understanding is key. Noncompliance with these standards will result in immediate dismissal from the program, with no refunds issued.

    Tickets

Each participant is assigned a ticket price of $35, with variations based on seating arrangements. General ticket prices begin at $15, while VIP seating for four, which includes tables with complimentary snacks and sparkling cider, is available for $105. There are four VIP seating options to choose from. Tickets will be on sale as soon as the event is announced. While it is not mandatory, we encourage attendees to support the event by selling tickets, distributing flyers, and promoting the show on social media. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are organized by color and letter according to their location. Tickets are available for purchase via the provided link or in cash. Please be aware that all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. This is a community initiative aimed at supporting our youth, and we invite everyone to get involved!

    Volunteers

At our event, we require various roles to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

    - We require chaperones to assist models with outfit changes, provide backstage support, communicate with parents, and ensure smooth operations.
    - Volunteer makeup artists are needed to create stunning looks for our mini models that complement their costumes.
    - Coaches will guide the girls during practice, teaching them walking styles, expressions, and how to showcase their costumes while maintaining their beauty.

All roles are strictly volunteer-based; however, your contributions will be acknowledged in the program. Additionally, if you have a social media account you wish to promote, we can accommodate that as well.

    Vending The Event

We are excited to announce that our event will feature a variety of vendors. This is a fantastic opportunity for small businesses, local enterprises, home-based operations, and organizations to promote and showcase their products. While there is a vendor application fee that must be paid before the event, your participation guarantees visibility through our ticket sales. For more information about vending at our event, please reach out to us below.

  • This year's theme for 2025/2026 is "Mythical, Magical, & Majestic," focusing on the celebration of uniqueness and beauty. In a world where being different is often viewed negatively, we aim to highlight the power of imagination through design. Our goal is to provide children with experiences that are free from the distractions of social media platforms like TikTok, Twitter/X, and Facebook, fostering new friendships, encouraging open creativity, and instilling a sense of confidence.
