Programs that acknowledge the criteria the library uses in establishing programs will have priority:
- Relevance to community interests and issues
- Meets popular demand, both existing and anticipated
- Availability of meeting rooms
- Treatment of content with respect to the intended audience
- Presentation quality
- Presenter background/qualifications in content area
- Operational and budgetary limitations
- Historical or educational significance
- Connection to other community programs, exhibitions or events
- Relation to Library collections, resources, exhibits and programs
- Partnerships with local community agencies, organizations, educational and cultural institutions and co-sponsored public programs
- All Library programs are open to the public for free.
