2025 Sassy Divas 5th Annual Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 20th / Parade Begins at 10:00 a.m. 

Registration Ends November 1, 2025.

Location: Start at New Bridge Learning Center (5915 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223) turn right out of the lot onto Newbridge Road. Left onto Pleasant Street and ending at Highland Springs Elementary School.

Line-up: 8:30am at New Bridge Learning Center (5915 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223. Only parade participates are allowed in the Line-up area.

Drop off: Across the street at Food Lion parking Lot 6009 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA. 23223

Disbanding: Highland Springs Elementary School (600 Pleasant Street, Richmond, VA. 23223.

 

                              Parade Rules
1. No other SANTA is allowed. Santa Claus is presented by Sassy Divas.

2. For safety reason, no one is allowed to throw candy to the crowd. However, walkers alongside entries may hand out candy.

3. All parade entries must be decorated for the holiday season, including company vehicles, antique cars, and motorcycles. Business entries need to add to the entertainment value of the parade. 

4. All drivers must hold a valid driver's license and valid/adequate insurance coverage. ATV and motorcycle drivers and riders MUST wear their helmets - rules of road apply to the parade - no wheelies, hot rodding, slowing down and then speeding up, or other inappropriate activities. 

5. Minor children must be accompanied by adults. 

6. Any and all music played must be family friendly. No vulgar, racial or sexual content allowed! Volume must be kept at an appropriate level (marching bands are exempt from this requirement). 

7. A fire extinguisher must be on board each float/vehicle.

8. All entries must clearly display the name of organization/business.

9. Animal handlers must be prepared to clean up after their animals. All waste must be removed immediately from the staging area and from the street so others do not have to walk in or around it.

10. Non-compliance with the rules could result in removal from the parade. 

11. The Parade Committee reserves the right to decline an entry for concerns related to the safety and enjoyment of the general public.

12. All entries are free of charge. If you like to donate, you can do so via Zelle(804-301-6125)/and/or contact us for other options, however, we do have to have a cuttoff. Register early!!!

                              

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

By authorized signature below, Parade Participants agree that Participants will make no claim of any kind against Sassy Divas (hereafter called Parade Organizers) for any loss, damage, theft, or destruction of Parade Participants goods, exhibits and property; nor for any injury that may occur to Parade Participants or his/her employees, members or guest while in the staging area or during the course of the parade; nor for any damage of any nature or character whatsoever. Parade Participants do hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Parade Organizers against any and all such claims, specifically including any claims arising from injuries to Parade Participants, as may be asserted against it.  It is at the discretion of the Sassy Divas to not accept entries representing or displaying foul language, indecent, inappropriate exposure.

Please read the included rules and regulations to indicate your understanding of the condition of your participation. - NO live Santa on floats - NO Throwing Candy! - NO Sirens during the parade - Lineup is between 8:30a.m. – 9:30a.m. - Must have float “completed” before entering lineup area - Only floats allowed in lineup area -Participant drop off will be across the street at Food Lion parking lot 6009 Nine Mile Road Richmond, VA. 23223 - I have read through and agree to all of the Rules and Condition of Participation attached to this form.
