Newcastle Jets Match Day Activations

This form is for clubs expressing interest in Newcastle Jets A-League Men and A-League Women 2021/2022 Match Day Activations.

Clubs will be selected to participate in Halftime Hero or Mascot experiences.

Please note that due to the high number of Expressions of Interest that we receive, filling out an Expression of Interest does not guarantee the club the opportunity to participate in Match Day Activations.

Conditions of Application (Halftime Heroes):

• Coaches over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 approved vaccination before taking any part in Match Day Activations 
• Coach and players will arrive when gates open and will meet a Northern NSW Football representative outside the facility. Coaches and parents will take players into the stadium and sit in allocated seats.
• The clubs’ 16 players will be split into four teams who will play a small-sided game against each other in a 4 v 4 format
• We encourage clubs to bring players in their U8s and U9s age group, evenly sharing this opportunity between boys and girls.
• Clubs must supply exactly 16 players for the day.
• All players will receive two (2) tickets (1 for themselves and 1 for a parent)
• Two (2) coaches per club will receive free entry to the match
• Tickets will be General Admission only. NNSWF recommends the purchase of General Admission tickets for extra family members that want to attend. Attendees are encouraged to sit on the Northern Hill as this is where we access the field at Halftime
• Only players and coaches will be permitted entry to the playing field.
• Teams must wear their club playing strip, including shirt, shorts and socks
• All players must wear shin pads and sneakers
• No football boots will be allowed on the playing surface.
• Parents are welcome to collect their children at the commencement of the second half after notifying their team coach.
• The nominated club coaches will be responsible for the players at all times

Conditions of Application (Mascots):

• Coaches over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 approved vaccination before taking any part in Match Day Activations 
• Coach and players will meet a Northern NSW Football representative prior to gates open. The clubs' allocated coach will enter the stadium with the players and NNSWF Rep for Mascot training prior to kick off. Parents will enter the stadium when gates open and sit in allocated seats. 
• The clubs’ 22 players will be split into two groups of 11.
• We encourage clubs to bring players in their U8s and U9s age group, evenly sharing this opportunity between boys and girls.
• Clubs must supply exactly 22 players for the day.
• All players will receive two (2) tickets (1 for themselves and 1 for a parent)
• Two (2) coaches per club will receive free entry to the match
• Tickets will be General Admission only. NNSWF recommends the purchase of General Admission tickets for extra family members that want to attend. Attendees are encouraged to sit on the Northern Hill as this is where we access the field at Halftime
