Summer Prep courses run on a flexible asynchronous schedule. We will work with you to prepare and manage the schedule that best fits your needs and goals, and will help keep you on track with progress monitoring and guidance support.

Tutoring: All tutoring will be done via online platforms that require internet connection and webcam/audio capabilities. TEMS is not responsible for student internet issues disrupting classes.

Tutoring: Payment must be provided as soon as invoiced. Parents/students will be invoiced for their desired amount of tutoring/course hours. If payment is not provided, all classes will stop and the student might lose their spot with the tutor. Starting October 2025, tutoring rates will increase to $50/hr for regular private lessons.

Tutoring: TEMS reserves the right to charge half the lesson price for late cancellation (less than 2 hours notice) or no-shows for any scheduled classes or tutoring lessons.

Umbrella Program: I understand that the Umbrella Program must have at least 1 semester registration, and that refunds are not available after the first two weeks in the program. I understand that I must read and adhere to the Umbrella contract.

Credit Program: I understand that proof of prerequisite is required and it is my responsibility to submit proof before the start of the course. If I do not have the prerequisite, I will not be able to continue in the course or receive the course credit and will forfeit the tuition fee (if the course has already started) and/or the registration fee (if the course has not yet started). I understand that the courses are managed by TEMS and fulfilled by a credit provider.

University Application Support: I understand that all work must be original to the student, and that TEMS teachers will not write, create, or otherwise complete the supplementary materials for the student. If students or parents request or pressure the teacher to complete or assist in the materials beyond what is considered advice/suggesting, the student is in danger of being rejected from the program without refund. I further acknowledge that the UAS program does not guarantee acceptance to the chosen university or program, as there are various factors outside of the supplementary application that affect that decision.
