In this 5-part series, we will learn practical communication skills for engaging in dialogue across differences. Participants will gain the tools they need to engage in challenging conversations in topics such as political tensions, ethical and religious views, and interpersonal difference. Engaging in these conversations is a sacred part of Jewish tradition. As we explore this sacred tradition we will also bring in our personal experiences, examples in current politics, and real-life scenarios to practice the skills.
This series will be facilitated by BBYO Director of Jewish Enrichment, Rachel Dingman and the curriculum was built in partnership with Resetting the Table.
Classes will be 1.5hours on Mondays 7:00pm-8:30pm:
