BUD CLARY AUTO GROUP ALCOHOL AND DRUG USE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Bud Clary Auto Group is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and efficient working environment for all its employees. The presence of alcohol and drugs in the workplace and the influence of those substances on employees during working hours pose serious safety and health risks to both the user and to all those who work with him or her. Impairment from drugs or alcohol threatens everyone’s safety and the success of our operation.
Compliance with the Bud Clary Drug and Alcohol policy is a term and condition of employment with Bud Clary Auto Group.
The Company has a pre-employment, reasonable cause, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing policy. It is a condition of employment that employees submit to a drug/alcohol test if the Company has reasonable cause to believe the employee is impaired while on the premises, as well as all post accidents. Refusal to submit to a reasonable cause or post-accident test will result in termination. Refusal to adhere to Bud Clary pre-employment drug testing procedures may result in disqualification for further employment consideration. Applicants who test positive for prohibited substances, will not be hired and may make a new application for consideration in 60 days. Applicants who test positive for marijuana will not automatically be disqualified from further employment. The company may make considerations on a case-by-case basis, including reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position for which they apply.
While legal under state law, medicinal or recreational Marijuana remains a controlled substance under Federal law. Therefore, all employees are prohibited from being under the influence of marijuana while at work, including any marijuana prescribed by a physician.
