This contract is between the seller, Maine Kingdom of Jersey Cow Farms and the Buyer:

Payment:

Currently our Maine Coon pet kittens are priced at $3250.00. This price includes a Florida Health Certificate and microchip.

To have your kitten delivered, you can simply add the delivery fee to your kitten's balance. For ground transportation or air transportation from our farm and cattery address to your preferred address.

The balance is due at the time of pickup of your kitten.

When a deposit of $500.00 has been received for your Maine Coon kitten, the balance will be due when your kitten is either picked up or is delivered to your preferred address.

The deposit is nonrefundable if you change your mind, so be committed to bringing one of these outstanding Maine Kingdom Maine Coon kittens home.

Deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferred to a future litter if the kitten becomes unavailable or the buyer's preference is not available in the current litter.

For those who have chosen to take advantage of our layaway financial option, you can make regular payments at your preferred amount and timing: Each payment will be recorded, and once the balance is $0.00, your kitten can be picked up.

For prospective parents of upcoming litter(s): Once kittens are born and photos are available, usually within a few days, you will be sent photos of the litter so that you are able to make your choice of your kitten, and our website will be updated noting that your kitten is chosen and reserved (including your name as the new parent, if you prefer).

Note: If you are making payments on your kitten, Maine Kingdom of Jersey Cow Farms will care for, feed, and shelter your kitten, including any and all vaccinations, deworming, and spaying or neutering (neutering/spaying is best done when your kitten is between four and six months old). It's generally recommened not to neuter/spay your kitten before she/he reaches at least four months of age, as it will be too small to undergo anesthesia.)

Return Guarantee:
If at any time in the life of your kitten you become unable to provide a suitable home, Maine Kingdom will either take the kitten back or do everything possible to help you re-home the kitten.

If you choose to return your kitten, Maine Kingdom will not reimburse you for the cost of the kitten, training, or other expenses incurred prior to the return of the kitten.

Delivery costs for shipping kittens back are the responsibility of the buyer. The kitten must have a veterinary health certificate prior to being brought to Jersey Cow Farms.

Pickup/Delivery:
Picking up your kitten at our farm is one way of transfering of the kitten from Maine Kingdom @ Jersey Cow Farms to their new family. 

We also offer free local delivery.
We are also able to ship at buyers’ expense.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to secure transportation and pay all fees associated with transport, as well as specific documentation required by the state of Florida and the USDA.

I understand that it is my choice to have my kitten shipped and that I am solely responsible for any problems incurred during shipping or after as a result of shipping.

I understand that once my Maine Coon kitten has departed from Maine Kingdom @ Jersey Cow Farms to be transported, Maine Kingdom @ Jersey Cow Farms is no longer liable and cannot be responsible for its safety, health, or well-being while in transit.

Jersey Cow Farms Health Guarantee:
Our kittens are guaranteed to have regular deworming and all age appropriate and age recommended vaccinations when picked up, and will be microchipped and will come with a health certificate drawn up by a licensed small animal veterinary. Your kitten will be started on premium quality dry and wet food, along with cooked chicken ( breast, legs etc. ) and small amounts of tuna.

Our kittens come with a health guarantee against any feline disease that all of our parent Maine Coons cats have been tested N/N for.

Your kittens genetic health is guaranteed for a period of 1 year. Maine Kingdom will replace your kitten if this same kitten or cat dies from a genetic illness within 1 year of the purchase date. Also, we do require that that Maine Kingdom is supplied with the kittens associated necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian and this needs be sent to Maine Kingdom in order to replace your kitten or cat.

Once you have been able to reserve your kitten with your choice of gender and color and/or pattern, you are guaranteed a kitten.

For example: You don't prefer this current litter looks, color pattern, temperament etc.

You will still continue to hold a reservation until you find your kitten that you have dreamt of, in one of our future litters ❤️

Registration:
Your Maine Coon kitten will be registered with The International Cat Association (TICA) Or CFA. Once you have spayed or neutered your kitten and we have the name you have chosen for your kitten, alongside your name, email, and address, we will send the information to TICA/CFA who will finalize the registration of your kitten. The kitten will be named with the name you choose, followed by Maine Kingdom, for example: “Louise” Maine Kingdom. This is mandatory. We will also give you your kitten’s microchip number, and then you can go to https://www.foundanimals.org/microchip/registry/ to transfer your kittens registration to you. You will submit the request for transfer and then we can approve it.

By signing this contract, the Buyer is agreeing to all the terms therein and is legally obligated to uphold these terms. Buyer is agreeing to pay fines, cover mediation costs, or cover costs not limited to all lawyers’ expenses, gas fees, lodging for offsite hearings, and any subsequent related costs accrued by the Breeder should violation of contract occur.
