For Sunday, December 11th - Staff Tasks Include:
Staff members will be responsible for any combination of the following tasks:
• Lots of Decor Setup (Christmas Trees, Lights, Decorations, etc.)
• Breakdown & Re-Packing of Items
• Set up of Event Items including Tables, Chairs, Tents, etc.
• General Area Oversight
• Information Distribution
• DIY / Craft Booth Management
• Cleanup & Area Maintenance
• Vendor Assistance
• Bounce House Oversight
• Power / Cable Distribution
• Assistance with Setup & Breakdown (Tables, Chairs, Linens, etc.)
• etc.
Expectations:
• Timeliness is MANDATORY. Event production cannot be stalled due to late arrivals. If you are unable to arrive at the appropriate hours, please do not apply.
• A specific color top will be expected to be worn for select events, and all workers should look professional, clean ,and wear neutral attire. All clothing choices must avoid anything offensive, heavily logoed, political, inappropriate for any ages, or expressive of controversial messages. Shoes must be closed toe. No flip flops or sandals.
• Workers should be friendly, engaging, and sociable. These are community events, and it is expected that workers express the welcoming image we wish to convey.
• Workers are expected to be capable of switching tasks, as needed. Typically, a staff member plays different roles throughout the event, depdening on what is a priority in that moment.
• Event work can get dirty! Any and all event staff is expected to help with tasks relating to clean up, bagging up trash & emptying trash cans, managing spills and messes, organizing event inventory and products, working in outdoor environment & inclement weather, etc.
• All event staff should be capable of lifting & carrying objects (wooden tables, chairs, bins, etc.) as well as standing and walking around for long periods of time.
Payment:
Event staff will earn $15/hr.
All payments are made via business check, or digital transaction from Atlantic Studios, inc.
Payments are mailed or delivered typically within 1 week of event (or possibly upon completion of event - pending checks preprinted with appropriate information and hours worked, and availability).
