Apply as an open contestant today to compete at Miss Washington's Teen in 2026!
By participating in the Miss Washington's Teen program you will meet new friends, learn life long skills, have a chance to earn cash, prizes and scholarships as well as becoming a mentor to a Pinecone (age 6-10) and most importantly, have fun! Miss Washington's Teen 2026 will be awarded a $7500 scholarship and a prize package worth over $10,000 to prepare her for Miss America's Teen 2027.

Age Requirement: 13 (must be 14 by 9/01/26) to no older than 18 (must not turn 19 before 9/30/26).
Open Contestant: $600
Local Runner-Up (if you were named a Runner-Up at a local preliminary): $500
(You may pay the $250 non-refundable deposit, with BALANCE DUE by April 11, 2026)

Entry Fee Includes:
- Official Miss America's Teen Title and Miss America's Teen Sash*
- Official Miss Washington's Teen State t-shirt (received at Pinecone Coronation Lunch)
- Entry to Pinecone (Little Sister) Coronation Luncheon and Dessert Dash, April 11, 2026, Spring Forum Weekend (May 8-10, 2025) Workshops, Video and Photo Shoots, Party with Miss Washington's Teen 2025)
- Entry to compete in the 2026 Miss Washington's Teen competition (June 27-July 1, 2026)
- Entrance into Miss Washington's Teen Alumnae Luncheon, July 1, 2026
- Entrance into Miss Washington's Teen Awards Ball, July 1, 2026
- Guest admission into any 2025-2026 Miss Washington Local Competition and Open/Sweeper Competition, April 12, 2026
- Guest admission into Miss Washington 2026 Preliminary and Final night competitions

*Official Miss America's Teen local crown can be purchased separately below and is REQUIRED. If you know any former teen titleholders, you may borrow their local crown if you are unable to purchase one.

You are required to have a Pinecone (age 6-10) to mentor during the competition season. The registration form for parents to complete is found here: https://www.misswashingtonsteen.org/pinecones. If you are having trouble finding a Pinecone, we can assist you! Deadline for registration is March 11, 2026.

Please allow Four (4) weeks for crown and sash production.

You will also need to register with Miss America and pay the annual Club America fee of $49.99. This is a one-time per year fee to compete at any local or state competition you are eligible for in 2025-2026.
