Signatures of all neighbors as required by the Application
Official House Location Survey Plat. This is required for any new fence, patio, deck, driveway, or other permanent structure on the property or for any change to any structure that would change its size or shape. The official Plat is the preferred document for marking where all projects will be placed, but for Adopted Area Maintenance Applications and projects that do not involve new structures or changes in the shape or size of structures, a screenshot of the property taken from the PWC Mapper and blown up to 8 1/2 X 11 size may be submitted as an alternative for consideration.
All submissions that involve anything beyond the original house boundaries require a detailed scale drawing showing the location of the proposed improvements or maintenance relative to the house and property boundaries.
Photographs of the location and existing property in its current condition.
Supplementary drawings, descriptions, photographs, color samples, etc. of the work to be completed. These must be detailed enough to allow the DRC to determine whether the work will meet the Design and Landscape Guidelines.
Total combined size of all files uploaded does not exceed 10 megabytes. (Please see Upload instructions for help to reduce file sizes.)

Be sure the Application form is the latest version available at http://www.VirginiaOaks.org/DRC. Only Applications dated 10/26/21 in the footer can be accepted.)
Make sure your handwriting is clear and readable.
Scan all appliation pages into one PDF. You can use a traditional scanner. These are available at most copy stores and service counters, if you do not have one. You can also use a scanner application for your phone or tablet, provided all pages are clear readable.
Name the files you are uploading correctly. Files MUST be named as follows: Last Name - House# Street - Application Type - Date
If your TOTAL combined file size for all files you are uploading exceeds 10 megabytes, use
Adobe's free online file size reducer
to shrink scanned application files, and
Panda's free JPEG compression tool
to reduce image sizes.)
If you are submitting more than one Application, complete this form separately for each Application and add a number after the date in the file name.
Upload all drawings and supporting documents as scanned documents (PDFs).
Photos should be in JPEG format.
Do NOT upload iPhone .HEIC photo files!
Name photos, plats, drawings, and other documents should be named as follows: Last Name - House Number - Street - Date - (Plat/Drawing/Photo) - (1,2,3 etc.)
