Life membership is awarded to individual members of WATAC Inc who have made an outstanding contribution to its work, generally over a considerable period of time. This includes expanding the membership reach, promoting the vision and mission of WATAC within the community and advocating for the causes to which WATAC is committed.
Any two financial members of WATAC Inc may nominate another member for life membership of WATAC by submitting this confidential nomination form to the secretary by December 31 in each calendar year.
The nominee should not be advised of this nomination.
The committee will consider all applications and may seek further information from the nominators before making its decision.
Life membership is conferred at a celebratory function following the annual general meeting of WATAC Inc or at such other gathering as the committee determines.
Life members are exempt from paying annual membership subscriptions.
Please attach your application, addressing the selection criteria, with copies of any supporting documentation, including references, photographs etc. and submit by December 31. Applications should be limited to 250-300 words maximum.
All documentation will be retained by WATAC Inc.
The committee will acknowledge receipt of your application and contact you if further information is required. You will be advised in confidence of the committee’s decision prior to the public announcement of the award.
