Pismo Beach Childcare Assistance Grant

The purpose of the Pismo Beach Childcare Assistance Grant Program is to provide grant funding for Pismo Beach residents to meet immediate funding needs due to COVID-19 impacts. The funds may be used to help Pismo Beach residents afford childcare payments. The maximum amount is $2K.
Due to limited funding for this program, the City has identified the following criteria in order to assist residents that are struggling with the high cost of childcare.
1. The applicant must be a current resident of Pismo Beach.
2. The applicant must provide documentation of the childcare facility and monthly cost.
3. The applicant is able to demonstrate a clear need for grant funding and identify how the funds will be spent.
4. The applicant will enter into and comply with a Grant Agreement upon award of the funds.
5. The applicant is able to report to the City on the use of grant funds.
