Course registration is made through the seminary directly. This form assists the Virginia Conference in tracking your basic CoS progress as reported to the Clergy Session during Annual Conference and to offer you financial assistance with your studies.

Scholarships for basic Course of Study are available to licensed local pastors serving as the Pastor in Charge or as Associate. The amount of scholarship is based on “household income” and service appointment.

*Base compensation, not including clergy housing allowance, for you plus other income from persons living in your household.

Over $60,000 Annually

· Local pastors with a household income of over $60,000 will receive $680 scholarship for four courses in the Summer Course of Study ($170 per course individually).

· Local pastors with a household income of over $60,000 will receive $680 scholarship for four courses in the Weekend Course of Study ($170 per course individually).

· Scholarship for a hybrid or online course (part in residence, part on-line) is one-half of the amount for a course in full-time residence.

Under $60,000 Annually

· Local pastors with a household income of under $60,000 will receive $1,080 scholarship for four courses in the Summer Course of Study ($270 per course individually).

· Local pastors with a household income of under $60,000 will receive $1,080 scholarship for four courses in the Weekend Course of Study ($270 per course individually).

· Scholarship for a hybrid or online course (part in residence, part on-line) is one-half of the amount for a course in full-time residence.
By submitting this form, you acknowledge that if you cancel, withdraw, or fail from the above course(s), you will be asked to refund the applicable portion of the scholarship to the Ministerial Education Fund so that those apportionments can be applied to others pursuing their education.
