ASSR Adoption Application

Before you can take your new pet(s) home, we need to ensure that you are able to care for your new friend(s). At Always Sunny Sanctuary and Rescue we are dedicated to finding homes that have been properly educated on bunny or guinea pig care in hopes that this will be their last and forever home. For this reason we ask that you fill out this form honestly and completely so that we can make sure the pet(s) you are interested in are right for your home.

Note that filling out this application does not guarantee adoption and Always Sunny Sanctuary and Rescue reserves the right to deny adoption for any reason.

Before continuing, please consider these requirements:

1. You must be 18 years or older to adopt.
2. Everyone in the household must be in agreement of adopting.
3. Proper legal ID with current address is required.
4. We are located in Shawnee, OK. We can do adoptions throughout OK and make plans to meet in other cities in some circumstances, but in others you will have to come to us. Out of state adoptions are only possible if you are willing to drive to Oklahoma to pick up the pet(s) you want to adopt or if the location is within a reasonable distance for transport.
5. We only adopt to INDOOR homes that meet a 16sqft minimum enclosure size for rabbits, and 8sqft for guinea pigs. We will require a photo of the setup you plan to use. If you do not have a setup yet, we do have rabbit pens and guinea pig cages up for sale.
