Run by Engineers Without Borders UK throughout February 2022, this month-long multidisciplinary challenge will provide participants with a unique opportunity to rethink how engineering is taught and practiced to ensure a safe and just future for all.
Intended for professionals with and without engineering expertise, participants will be put into teams from across the sector to tackle a real-world design brief that will facilitate a deeper understanding of the impacts of engineering and the approaches for embedding global responsibility in the sector.
Simultaneously, we will be running our Student Designathon for the second year in row. While the Challenge participants will be provided with different briefs, there will be opportunities for networking and collaboration throughout the month.
The time commitment for the Challenge is roughly 3-5 hours per week, including sessions led by Engineers Without Borders UK and other organisations. All sessions will be recorded to ensure all participants are able to access the content.
