• ASTA Social Media & Website Advertising

    Each month of advertising with ASTA gives the client one website ad plus one social media post per week across our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn platforms, as per the specifications and terms and conditions below.
  • Advertising Specifications

    Art Work:

    • Artwork for ads must be 1080 x 1080 pixels in size (they will be downsized for the website).
    • Ads can be single static documents (GIF, JPG, PNG) or GIF89 animated files.
    • Animated gifs should be no more than 1 MB in size.
    • Ads can include a click-through link to an external website.
    • Ads will be positioned down the right side of the ASTA home page.
  • Text:

    • Advertisements for our website should include any necessary text as part of the artwork.
    • Text to be included with social media ad placements should be limited to 280 characters and should be entered into the appropriate field below.

  • ASTA will only run one advertisement across our social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) once per week, and all images and text must be provided at the commencement of the campaign. Any changes to text and images following commencement of the campaign will incur additional charges. Only one image can be provided for inclusion on the ASTA website for the duration of the campaign.

  • TERMS & CONDITIONS

    AUTHORITY
    The above mentioned Advertiser hereby authorises the Publisher (ASTA) to insert advertising in accordance with the specifications of the Australian Science Teachers Association website and social media pages, subject to the following conditions.

    CONDITIONS

    1. The Advertiser warrants that all information supplied for publication is correct and indemnifies the Publisher against any consequential liability.
    2. Cancellations must be in writing and received by booking deadline date.
    3. Late cancellations or failure to meet artwork deadline shall result in the Advertiser being liable for the full amount of the contract price.
    4. All advertising must be non-political and non-discriminatory, with ASTA reserving the right to refuse acceptance of ads and/or to remove ads,
      with no refund, if complaints are made. Advertising with ASTA does not imply ASTA’s endorsement.
    5. ASTA will only run one advertisement across our social media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter) once per week, and all images and text must be provided at the commencement of the campaign. Any changes to text and images following commencement of the campaign will incur additional charges. Only one image can be provided for inclusion on the ASTA website for the duration of the campaign.
    6. ASTA is unable to provide detailed data on social media posts and our website advertisements. ASTA is only able to provide high level aggregate data for our social media channels, upon request. This aggregate data may include impressions, enagements, page visits, for the entire channel or website. Any request for data on individual posts or advertising within our website will incur an additional cost, if we are able to provide this. All requirements for data must be discussed with ASTA prior to advertising being provided. ASTA reserves the right to refuse any advertising should we be unable to provide the requested data.
