  • ASEAN Social Enterprise Development Forum Registration - November 12, 2021

    The ASEAN Social Enterprise Development Forum is an opportunity for the youth to learn more about social enterprises through roundtable discussion and masterclasses and appreciate the efforts and growth of our 20 selected Social enterprises from the ASEAN SEDP Programme who have been with us since July 2021.

  • Programme Agenda 

    The programme runs from 9:00 -11:30 am (GMT +7) and is as follows:

    9:00 - 9:15 am - Opening remarks from the Chair of BOT, H.E. Amb Nguyen Hai Bang, Permanent Representative of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to ASEAN 

    9: 15 - 9:45 am - The Conversation: ASEAN Social Enterprise Development Programme. This conversation will feature and capture discussion between ASEAN SEDP partners and participants of ASEAN SEDP. 

    9:45 - 10:30 am - ASEAN SEDP Masterclass Sessions

    • Masterclass Session 1 Finance for Social Enterprise: Mr. Raoul Oberman, Co-Founder and CEO of Artemis Impact, Pte, Ltd
    • Masterclass Session 2 The Role of Youth-Led Social Enterprise in Solving Climate Crisis: Mr. Rafid Shidqi, Climate Change Youth Specialist at ADB Youth for Asia

  • Masterclass Sessions (09.45 - 10.30 am GMT +7)

    The masterclass sessions are aimed to all youths interested in the finance and digital marketing aspects of social entrepreneurship. The masterclass is divided into two sessions: Finance for Social Enterprise and The Role of Youth-Led Social Enterprise in Solving Climate Crisis . These 2 sessions are going to run concurrently.

  • Masterclass Session 1

    • Topic: Finance for Social Enterprise
    • Speaker: Mr. Raoul Oberman, Co-Founder and CEO of Artemis Impact, Pte, Ltd

    This masterclass will inform and equip the audience with knowledge from the expert around the topic of finance for social enterprise. The speakers will be sharing with the audience practical tips on how to strengthen the business model and revenue streams for social enterprise. The sharing will also reflect the context and d situation in the Southeast Asia region.

    Masterclass Session 2

    • Topic: The Role of Youth-Led Social Enterprise in Solving Climate Crisis
    • Speaker: Mr. Rafid Shidqi, Climate Change Youth Specialist at ADB Youth for Asia

    This masterclass will inform and equip the audience with the knowledge from the expert around the potential of youth particularly youth-led social enterprises and youth-led initiatives in solving climate change and environment issue in their community. This session will function to share practical approach in ensuring that youth-led initiatives are incorporating the environmental awareness thinking behind the design and implementation of their operation and activities. This masterclass will also reflect on the urgency to utilise social enterprise model to address the urgency of addressing the issue of environment and climate change.
