ICA 2022 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
June 3-4, 2022
The 2022 ICA Annual Conference with the theme Innovation & Inclusivity: The Way Forward is Together will provide several presentations on advocacy, professional identity, multicultural considerations, and more! Gary Wardlaw, founder, co-owner, and lead therapist of the Relationship Clinic, will be our keynote speaker. You will be challenged to hold space for honest and difficult conversations.
The conference will be held in person and virtually (pre-recorded), with an option for in-person attendees to also view pre-recorded sessions during the month of June. For more information go to: http://www.indianacounseling.org
ICA WILL ACCEPT PROPOSALS FROM BOTH PROFESSIONALS AS WELL AS GRADUATE STUDENTS WITH A PROFESSOR FOR THE 2022 CONFERENCE.
Submission deadline: Friday, December 17th by 11:59 pm EST
Notification of acceptance or rejection of submissions will be sent out in late January.
Only proposals received on or before the deadline that meet all guidelines will be reviewed.
Presentations will be selected based on the timeliness of the topic, anticipated interest, and number of proposals submitted on similar topics.
Topics should be designed for various counseling professionals, including but not limited to mental health counselors, addictions counselors, school counselors, and marriage & family therapists.
Presentations can be experiential, skill-building, idea sharing, or can be based on research position papers.
All presenters must agree to pre-record their presentations and present in person.
All presentations are 60-minutes in length.
