A leave of absence is granted for long-term non-attendance with the intention to return on a specified date and must be for a minimum of 30 days. Requests for a leave of absence must be submitted in writing using the request form provided by the center and received at least 30 days before the leave's intended start date. To consider your request and suspend your account, payment in full of all tuition fees owed and the full term of the 30-day notice must be provided.
Approval is subject to current enrollment capacity and our ability to accommodate your child’s return. If payment is not made in full for 30 days before the leave of absence starts, the approval of the leave of absence will be nullified. If approved, any deposit will be held during the leave period and may not be used. Tuition will begin accruing again on the indicated return date, regardless of actual attendance. Please note that there is a possibility your child will be placed on a waitlist and unable to return until space becomes available. In such cases, tuition will not accrue until space is secured.
If your circumstances change and you choose not to resume attendance, you must submit a withdrawal notice on or after, but no earlier than, the specified return date. The withdrawal notice must be in writing using the Withdrawal Notice form provided by the center and must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the final day of enrollment. Full payment of tuition will be due for the entire 30-day period, regardless of the termination date or attendance. Refunds will not be given for unused time; credits must be used for services. Your deposit will be applied to your child’s final week of attendance upon receipt of the Withdrawal Notice form.
Additionally, if you stop bringing your child without contacting the office, fees will continue to accrue until we can verify your child’s withdrawal from the program. Failure to provide at least a 30-day written notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Please contact the office if you have any questions.
