ICA 2022 Faculty Application
We are excited to welcome applications for the 2022 Institute on the Curricular Approach Faculty. Applications are due Friday, January 21, 2022.
ICA 2022 Selection Timeline
Friday, January 21, 2022: Applications Due for Institute Faculty
Friday, February 11, 2022: Applicants Notified of Decision
Friday, February 18, 2022: Faculty Confirm Acceptance
Week of February 21, 2022: First Conference Call for Institute Faculty (date and time TBD)
ICA Faculty Duties
Participate in monthly electronic planning meetings (Faculty Meetings, Track Meetings, Planning Meetings, etc.) via Zoom (February-November 2022).
Contribute 3-4 hours per month in curriculum and presentation preparation (tasks to be assigned once all faculty have been selected).
Assist in the enhancement of the curriculum for the 2022 Institute. This may include serving on sub-committees or workgroups.
Co-present 2-4 sessions at the 2022 Institute 16-19 October in Baltimore, Maryland.
Register for and attend the 2022 Institute. Faculty receive a complimentary registration and half of a double hotel room for the Institute.
Potentially participate as a showcase or resource institution and/or support the review process.
Potentially serve as one of the ICA Faculty Co-Directors (ex. New Track, Returning Track, Showcase, Faculty Development, Communication, Faculty Consults, and Assessment) based on selection process as outlined once all Faculty are selected.
ICA Faculty Qualifications
Previously attended two ACPA RCI/ICA Institutes.
Experience with developing and implementing a curriculum on their campus.
Demonstrated experience with leading and/or facilitating local, regional, and/or national presentations
Strong understanding of the core components, philosophy, and implementation of the Curricular Approach to Student Learning
Be a current member of ACPA.
