Eligibility

Open to Canadian Residents only.

Applicants must work in the hospitality industry, and must have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applicants must be over the age of 19 and have a wine related project or educational goal that needs financial assistance. 

Successful applicants agree to the publication of their name and photo (photo not mandatory) as recipients of the scholarship on the FduV website and social media platforms.

Applicants must write a short essay (max 250 words) in support of their candidacy and outlining what they would use the scholarship for. 

Applicants must submit a one-page resume.

Please note that if you have won a scholarship in 2021 from Femmes du Vin you are not eligible to apply for this round. 

If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Please outline in your own words why you are applying for this scholarship, and how the COVID-19 pandemic affected your income at your hospitality position?  If awarded the Grapes for Humanity Harvest Relief Scholarship how would you use the funds to further your education and/or career?

Provide as much detail as possible. Funds may be used for various purposes including but not limited to: educational courses, travel to or admission fees to industry events.
