  • SERVICES

  • Exhibitors will be able to connect directly into 13amp outlets.
    All cable extensions and connecting couplings must carry a P.A.T. Test Certificate (Portable Appliance Test) valid for the duration of the Show. A photocopy of the test certificate must be attached or be forwarded to the Festival Office 1 month prior to the Show.
    The organisers will be empowered to refuse electrical connection if a valid test certificate is not received within 1 month of the Festival.

  • It is a requirement that you list ALL items of electrical equipment along with the wattage of each appliance. This enables us to give the correct power requirements for the venue to the electricians. Items not listed below must not be used.

    You will also be required to produce a valid electrical test certificate for each appliance used and made available for inspection by our electricians. Failure to produce a valid certificate will result in the organisers not permitting you to use the appliance.

    Using the guidelines below, please consider what risk there is to those building up and removing stalls, activities and to visitors during the event. Please outline the steps you propose to take to minimise that risk in the table below. Please copy this page if more space is required. If in your opinion, there is no risk, please print NO RISK. If unsure of stall features at the time of booking, and can therefore not complete this form, or if the risk changes before the event dates, please contact the event organisers ASAP.

    For hazards listed, please outline the steps you propose to take to minimise the risk.

    Slipping; drowning; tripping hazards; chemicals; moving parts of machinery; pressure systems; electricity; dust and fumers.

    Staff; maintenance personnel; contractors; operators etc. Pay particular attention to: staff with disabilities; visitors; lone workers.

    Do they: meet legal requirements; represent good practice; reduce risk as far as reasonable practicable.

    Food Hygiene and Safety Declaration:

    It is the condition of participating in any Sbarc Ltd advertised events that exhibitors are conversant with, and abide by, the food safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1965 and the Food Safety (Temperature control) Regulations 1995

    It is also a condition that all electrical equipment used at the festival has a current PAT certificate under regulation 4, 5 and 6 of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (EAWR).

    I confirm that I am conversant with, and abide by, the Food Safety (GFC) Regulations and the Food Safety (TC) Regulations 1995 and that all equipment used at the events, including any extension leads, will have a current PAT certificate. The total power consumption of appliances attached to a single outlet extension leads will not exceed the capacity of the extension leads.

    I agree to clear the site of all litter and rubbish after the event and to deposit such litter and rubbish in the receptacles provided.
