Rules & Guidelines
Entry is FREE
Entry deadline is 28th February 2022
WHY ENTER?
The COVID Champion Award is an opportunity to highlight a team, who has demonstrated resilience and dedication, and has shown superb initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This team may have found innovative ways of delivering medicines to shielding patients, implemented procedures in the pharmacy to protect at-risk groups, masterminded a communication plan to keep in touch with the local community, or simply lent an ear and a helping hand to a vulnerable patient.
WHO CAN ENTER?
This category is open to any pharmacy team, who has gone that ‘extra mile’ during the COVID-19 pandemic to support patients in the community: support which has provided demonstrable benefits.
Nominations for the category can be made through self-nomination, personal application, or by colleagues, pharmacy business owners or GPs.
All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts.
JUDGES WILL BE LOOKING FOR:
• Enthusiasm and commitment to the enhancement of community pharmacy in Scotland.
• Exceptional quality above and beyond what is expected.
• An ability to overcome challenges in pursuit of goals.
• Evidence of how performance was measured and benchmarked in addition to proof of project success/improved patient outcomes.
