WHY ENTER?

The Pharmacy Team Member of the Year Award aims to reward those outstanding non-pharmacist members of the team, who have made a significant contribution to community pharmacy in Scotland.

This award recognises excellence in knowledge and/or service to pharmacy retail customers and patients.

Nominations for the category can be made through self-nomination, by colleagues or pharmacy business owners, or by personal application.

WHO CAN ENTER?

The category is open to all members of pharmacy staff (excluding pharmacists), i.e., pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, dispensers, or category specialists, such as those working in the cosmetics or photography departments.

All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts.

JUDGES WILL BE LOOKING FOR:

• Initiated or been deeply involved in the development of a new service
Gone above and beyond the remit of their intended role to sell the benefits of pharmacy to patients.

• Implemented a new method of working which has reduced the workload of their colleagues or which has improve patient care and outcomes.

• Piloted, run or developed a health campaign in their pharmacy or through outreach in the local community
