Walking with the Thunderbirdz

If you have joined the Thunderbirdz before, note the meeting spot has changed. They now meet on Higgins, just off Main Street, in the first parking lot on your left at 181 Higgins. (We just gather by our vehicles to prepare for the walk.) We meet at 5:45 to start walking at 6. I don't know the route we'll be taking, so please be there closer to 5:45 than 6, so you don't miss us.

If you are able, you may contribute food (sandwiches, granola bars, fresh fruit and bottled water are great options). Bringing food is not a requirement. Some people usually bring more than they can carry, so we can all help in carrying food.

Please dress to be comfortable outdoors for 3 hours and bring a back-pack to help carry items we will hand out.

Photos will possibly be taken during the walk. We like to use photos on our website and social media to show people what we've been up to or to advertise future walks. Also the Thunderbirdz usually take at least one photo for their FB post. If you have any hesitation with that please alert anyone you see taking photos and opt out of the group photo.

Sam, the leader of the Thunderbirdz, has asked that walkers read the Thunderbirdz Guidelines and bring one completed liability waiver per family. If you can't print it off, please read it and be ready to fill it in and sign it when you arrive.
