Case Based Learning/Call Groups
Along with the weekend course there is a required 6-month case based virtual learning program/Call Groups. Participants join 12 bi-monthly one-hour Call Group ZOOM sessions with Virginia primary care and child/adolescent psychiatry experts to learn how to manage cases in daily practice using information/resources from the course.
CME Credits
As a participant in the VMAP REACH PPP training, you are eligible to earn a maximum of 28.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit (TM) by completing the weekend training (16.25 hours) and 12 1-hour long Call Groups.
Participants are eligible to receive up to 28.25 MOC 2 credits upon successful completion of the VMAP REACH PPP weekend training and submission of a MOC 2 Evaluation Form.
In addition, participants who are members of the American Board of Pediatrics are eligible to earn 25 MOC 4 credits in the ABP Maintenance of Certification Program upon successful completion of the weekend training, participation in the call groups and an assigned MOC 4 project.
VMAP REACH Training
To be considered a REACH TRAINED clinician, you must complete at least 14.25 hours of the VMAP REACH PPP training weekend and at least 10 subsequent Call Group sessions.
