  • Welcome to the new SSES program application. If you need help filling out the application, please email SSESApplications@tea.texas.gov.

    Please note:

    • Funding for the expanded criteria will begin in January 2022. We encourage parents of eligible students to apply now, but we also want parents to know that new applicants may not receive an award notice until January 2022.

    • The SSES program began in January of 2021. If you have already applied though the previous application (FACTS), or applied previously in our TEA application, you do not need to apply again here. Families should not apply twice for the same student.

    • If you are applying for a student who was not enrolled in a Texas public school last year or is currently in PreK, your application might take longer to process. Regardless of how long it takes to process, all applications will be awarded according to the order in which they were received.

  • SSES 30-Day Account Activation Requirement:

    The SSES program requires that all awarded applicants complete the SSES Account Activation Requirement within 30 days of the date their award notice was sent via email.  Completing the SSES Account Activation Requirement means that the applicant 

    • logs on to their online ClassWallet Marketplace account and   
    • accepts the Texas Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) Parental Acknowledgement and Agreement affidavit provided upon sign in.   

    If an awarded applicant does not complete the SSES Account Activation Requirement within 30 days, their account funds may be reclaimed.
