Getting to the Main Point

1.     As we testify we must remember that the world will inevitably      us for our love for Christ. (23:12-15, John 15:18-25)


2.     As we testify we must remember that God’s      will always rule in our lives, even in the details. (23:16-35)

Providence: The doctrine that God is continually involved with all created things in such a way that he (1) keeps them existing and maintaining the properties with which he created them; (2) cooperates with created things in every action, directing their distinctive properties to cause them to act as they do; and (3) directs them to fulfill his purposes. (Wayne Grudem, Systematic Theology, page 315)


3.     As we testify we must remember that God will provide for us in the hour of our need giving us the      to say! (24:1-20, Matt 10:19)


4.     As we testify we must get to the main point which is that the      of Christ is the only hope the world has! (v. 21)
