As a member of the Gymnastics Tasmania State Team, I acknowledge that I am representing Gymnastics Tasmania and agree to the following:

1. TERM

1.1 This agreement will commence whilst the Team Member is carrying out Team duties either at the venue or elsewhere during training/competition dates.
2. TEAM MEMBER’S OBLIGATIONS

The Team Member undertakes and agrees to the following:

2.1               To observe and carry out all reasonable directions and instructions of Team Management and/or Head Coach of the Team, and any person appointed to support him/her/them.

2.2               To conduct himself/herself in a proper manner as befits a member of Gymnastics Tasmania. Especially,

(a)          Be courteous and considerate to the needs of others

(b)          Conduct himself/herself in a manner that is safe to himself/herself and to others

(c)           Not use offensive language

2.3 To wear the official Team uniform, clothing, competition and training gear on all occasions as instructed by the Manager and/or Head Coach

2.4 To travel and depart from Team activities and competitions upon the date determined by Gymnastics Tasmania or as directed by Team Management.

2.5 To attend and be prompt to all Team meetings and gatherings as directed by Team Management and/or Head Coach or any person appointed to implement those directions.

2.6 To disclose immediately to the Manager and/or Head Coach, any illness and/or injury that may affect his/her proper participation in the activities of the Team.

2.7 To organise their own meals whilst on the team.
3. DOPING AND ALCOHOL

3.1 Team Members 18 years and over, will not purchase alcohol on a minor’s behalf.
4. BREACH OF AGREEMENT
4.1          The Team Member acknowledges and agrees that in the event of a breach of this Agreement or a breach of discipline or any misbehaviour by him/her, the team member shall be liable to incur all or any of the following actions at the discretion of Gymnastics Tasmania or the Team Management.

(a)    To have his/her membership of the Team terminated;

(b)    To be excluded from the Competition Event;

(c)     To be sent home;

(d)    To appear before a Disciplinary Committee established by Gymnastics Tasmania for the purposes of determining further disciplinary action.
5. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
5.1 The Team Member acknowledges that in signing this agreement he/she has read and understood, or has had explained to him/her, the terms of this agreement.
