Welcome to the Community Survey for the WCQ Crafts Market Co-Design project!
This project aims to bring together the diverse local community of Waterford’s Cultural Quarter to collaboratively envision and design a flexible ‘pop-up’ weekend crafts market, with the support of WIT Architecture students and a co-design and architecture team.
It is envisioned that the crafts market would pop-up to take place on a small section of O’Connell Street that is currently pedestrianised at the weekends, to further encourage activity in the area that celebrates the Cultural Quarter’s rich diversity and supports local shops and businesses.
This project is part of the Irish Architecture Foundation’s Reimagine Programme - with key local partners including the Waterford Cultural Quarter, Waterford City & County Council, WIT School of Architecture and the Waterford Area Partnership. Please find out more at: https://waterfordculturalquarter.ie/wcq-craft-market-survey/.
In addition to participating through this survey, please stop by our stand at Winterval on the 20th of November and the 9th of December, where we'll be gathering input on design ideas.
Thanks for your participation! This survey should take about 10 minutes to complete.
