Tamil Students Association
Chinguacousy's TSA is a club dedicated to the celebration, preservation and immersion of Tamil culture, history and arts. Chinguacousy's TSA plans to raise awareness for Tamil struggles around the world, such as in Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and India in addition to celebrating Tamil events such as Thai Pongal, Puthandu (Tamil New Year), and Diwali. The TSA also aims to foster a strong Tamil community within the school, such as through hosting screenings for Tamil movies, after school conferences with Tamil professionals such as doctors, and engineers to discuss boundaries they had to overcome to make it in their careers. Above all, the TSA is welcome to any and all persons interested in the TSA’s goals and values, regardless of ethnicity and political affiliation.
