Please complete the following form to request permission to reproduce material copyrighted by the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and/or AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language to the extent and for the purpose described.

Permission Fee Schedule

The following fee schedule is for commercial publishers wishing to use copyright material of AG Bell and/or the AG Bell Academy in other publications. For schools, non-profit organizations, parent groups, medical personnel, state and local education departments, etc., who wish to use materials in publications available for free or at cost and for educational purposes are generally exempt from paying these fees; however, permissions must still be obtained from AG Bell and the AG Bell Academy in writing to legally reproduce any material in any fashion for any purpose, and AG Bell and the AG Bell Academy reserve the right to deny permission for any reason.
- Less than 150 words: $35
- 150 - 1,000 words: $50
- Over 1,000 words: Negotiable on a case-by-case basis
- Charts/Figures/Photos: $20 each
The above list also applies to foreign translations of AG Bell and AG Bell Academy materials to be sold for profit. Translation of AG Bell and AG Bell Academy materials for educational purposes is generally allowed for free of charge with written permission from AG Bell and/or the AG Bell Academy.

Research Material

If you are seeking access to an article for research purposes, the fee schedule does not apply. However, you must still complete the rest of this form prior to the materials being emailed to you.

Derivative Works

Fees for works derived from copyrighted material will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please complete the form and someone will follow up with you.

I understand and agree that permission (if granted):
- Covers only the number of copies and is solely for the intended use as stated above.
- Shall in no way be deemed to limit or restrict the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, as publisher and copyright owner of the material to be copied, from granting similar permissions to other persons or organizations exercising any and all rights it may have in this capacity.
- No substantive change in AG Bell material is anticipated, and no change in content or format of AG Bell material can be made without prior approval from AG Bell.
- Does not include the right to make derivatives, compilations, or other copies of AG Bell material other than the copies described above.
- Shall be ineffective until all fees, if any, are paid in full.
- Shall include providing the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing two copies of the completed work without charge.
